Adelaide tram workers have called off a 24-hour stoppage of Adelaide’s tram network slated for Tuesday (September 12) following further discussions with Torrens Connect at the Fair Work Commission today.
“Tram workers are absolutely determined to get a fair and reasonable pay rise from this negotiation,” RTBU SA/NT Secretary Darren Phillips said.
“They also recognise that this dispute is frustrating for commuters, so they have agreed to suspend all industrial actions while they consider the new offer from Torrens Correct.
“Workers will front up to work as usual tomorrow, so there should be no interruption to services.”
