The national Union is governed according to its rules. In essence, the rules are our constitution, and they ensure that the Union runs democratically and in the best interests of the members.

The RTBU takes privacy seriously. We comply with the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). The RTBU's Privacy Policy (policy) should be read in conjunction with the Privacy Act and APPs.

Dignity and Respect Handbook
No one should suffer bullying or harassment while going about their work. This can put at risk the health, safety and well being of those involved. That is why the RTBU is an organisation which is committed to maintaining a workplace that endeavours to provide dignity and respect to all of its employees.
