The RTBU National Council Dinner 2019 dinner will be held at Old Parliament House in Canberra on Wednesday 27 November. The dinner will mark the 50^thanniversary of the General Strike of 1969, and the gaoling of Victorian tramways union leader Clarrie O’Shea for defying the Federal Government’s draconian ‘penal powers’.

Guest speaker at the dinner will be Leader of the OppositionThe Hon Anthony Albanese MP, and our host for the night will be actor and comedian Tahir.
