Fix Metro Tasmania

Tasmanians will go to the polls on Saturday 23 March to vote for a new parliament and a new State Government.

This is your chance to make a difference, and to elect politicians who take public transport seriously.

THE ISSUES

Over the past few years, Tasmanians have had to grapple with increasing traffic congestion and unreliable public transport.  Tasmania spends the least on public transport (on a per capita basis) of all Australian states and territories. to make matters worse, the government-owned bus operator, Metro Tasmania, has been forced to run a substantially reduced timetable due to continuing staff shortages.

It's time to Fix Metro Tasmania and get Tasmania's public transport services back on the road.
