  7. interrupt work periodically, for an indefinite period, in order to provide information concerning the views of employees about any aspect of the bargaining campaign to any members of the public, including the media,

    (the Proposed Industrial Action).

On 3 April 2024, the RTBU issued a newsflash communicating to members that, among other things, Proposed Industrial Action 5,6 and 7 would go ahead from 12.01am Saturday 6 April 2024 and until further notice.

The RTBU has temporarily withdrawn the Proposed Industrial Action.

The RTBU advises its members not to engage in the Proposed Industrial Action including items 5, 6 and 7 until further notice.

Whether to engage in other protected industrial action, including the currently notified ban on overtime for all workgroups, is a personal choice for each individual member.

The fact that the RTBU is organising industrial action does not mean any individual member has to take it.
